Bernardsville

Nestled in the rolling hills of Somerset County, Bernardsville is one of the prettiest towns in Somerset County. Its scenic drives and towering trees easily make Bernardsville one of the most comforting and cozy towns to live in. The Downtown of Bernardsville offers a multitude of things to do, including it’s own movie theater and multiple grocery and specialty stores.

Bernardsville gets its name from Sir Francis Bernard, the Colonial governor of New Jersey during 1758 to 1760. In the late 1800’s, the Bernardsville train line was established, playing a very important roll in both the development and growth of the borough.
